From artist to artist. Every brand has a story. This is ours. INK-credible didn’t begin with a business plan or the idea of creating another product. It began with a problem we experienced ourselves. When I started my journey as a Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) artist, I knew the profession demanded patience, precision and long hours of focused work. What I didn’t expect was how physically demanding it would become—especially for my eyes. I’ve had weak eyesight for most of my life. After wearing glasses for years, I eventually underwent laser eye surgery and finally enjoyed clear vision again. Everything was fine. Until I became an SMP artist. Within the first months of working, I started noticing something wasn’t right. By the end of every session my eyes felt exhausted. My vision became blurred and maintaining the same level of precision became increasingly difficult as the day went on. For the first time, I genuinely questioned whether my eyes would allow me to build a long-term career doing what I loved. I booked another eye examination and was prescribed glasses specifically for work. That’s when we realised something else needed to change. Our lighting. Years of Searching Together with my partner, Triin Ley, founder of MyBrows Studio, we started looking for a better lighting solution. At the time, we had absolutely no plans to build a brand. We simply wanted to make our daily work more comfortable. Over the following years, we tested countless headlamps from different manufacturers. Some were too heavy. Some had poor weight distribution. Others created harsh hotspots and uneven lighting that made detailed work even more difficult. Many looked promising on paper but simply weren’t comfortable enough for long SMP, PMU or Tattoo sessions. Every new headlamp taught us something about what really matters when you spend hours working with millimetre precision. Eventually, after years of searching and testing, we found the one that met every requirement we had been looking for. Comfort. Balanced weight distribution. A wide and even beam of light. An adjustable angle. Powerful lighting that helped reduce eye fatigue and made long working days significantly more comfortable. From that moment on, working without a headlamp was no longer something we could imagine. For years, it remained our personal setup. It wasn’t a product. It wasn’t a business. It was simply the tool we trusted every single day. A Discovery Worth Sharing As time went on, we noticed something interesting. Many SMP, PMU and Tattoo artists were still searching for the right headlamp. Some were using models we had already tested ourselves. Others weren’t using a headlamp at all. I started asking around and giving our headlamp out for testing. The feedback was remarkably consistent. “This is the best headlamp I’ve ever used.” We kept hearing the same thing from artist after artist. That’s when we realised something. The problem wasn’t that good headlamps didn’t exist. The problem was that artists had no easy way of knowing which one was actually worth buying. Most professionals were doing exactly what we had done years earlier—buying different models, testing them during client work and hoping to eventually find the right one. We wanted to make that journey easier. The Birth of INK-credible That idea became INK-credible. We didn’t invent a new headlamp. We created a brand. A brand built around carefully selected professional tools that have already proven themselves through years of real studio work. Our goal isn’t to manufacture everything ourselves. Our goal is to discover exceptional products, test them in real working environments and introduce them to professional artists under one trusted brand. The first product to carry the INK-credible name became The INK-credible Headlamp. Not because it was a new invention. But because after years of searching, testing and daily professional use, it was the headlamp we genuinely believed in. Instead of letting every new artist repeat the same expensive and time-consuming search, we wanted to offer a solution that had already earned its place in our own studios. Built by Professionals INK-credible represents both of us. I’m Kris Pulver, founder of Kris SMP and Scalp Estonia. Alongside me is Triin Ley, founder of MyBrows Studio, whose years of experience in the PMU industry have been an essential part of shaping the standards behind the INK-credible brand. Together, we continue testing products in our own studios before introducing them under the INK-credible name. If a product doesn’t earn a permanent place in our daily work, it doesn’t earn the INK-credible name. Looking Forward Today, artists from different countries use The INK-credible Headlamp in their daily work. Our PRO TEAM continues to grow, bringing together professionals from the Tattoo, PMU and SMP industries who share the same expectations. Comfort. Precision. Reliability.
