Tub of Scrub is a mechanical exfoliator that I mainly use as part of skin preparation rather than immediately before an SMP procedure.
I find it particularly useful when a client comes in for a consultation and the scalp is dry or flaky. In those cases, exfoliating the scalp and following with moisturizing oils can help improve the condition of the skin and prepare it for the upcoming procedure.
Personally, I prefer doing this in advance and giving the skin time to recover and hydrate rather than using a mechanical scrub directly before a session.
A useful product when the scalp needs a little extra preparation before tattooing.
